Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of AuraRank, including its ratings, lists, community features, games, profiles and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using account-only features, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. If the law where you live requires consent from a parent or legal guardian for your use of the Service or for processing your personal data, you may use those features only with that required permission.
2. What AuraRank provides
AuraRank is an entertainment-focused community and rating platform. Scores, rankings, comments, lists, guesses and community results are subjective user or community opinions and are provided for entertainment and informational purposes.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use AuraRank to break the law, interfere with the Service, access another person's account, scrape or overload the Service in an abusive manner, distribute malware, spam users, impersonate others, evade moderation, or publish content that violates another person's rights.
4. User content
AuraRank Clips and other submission features host user-generated content (“UGC”). Users, not AuraRank, choose and submit their uploads. You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit. By submitting content that is intended to be displayed on AuraRank, you grant AuraRank a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, improve and promote the Service. You represent that you have all rights, licences, permissions or other legal authority needed to upload and share the submitted content. AuraRank does not obtain third-party film, television, music or other rights merely because a user uploads material.
5. Moderation
AuraRank may remove, restrict, hide or refuse content, ratings, profiles, lists or submissions that violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines, applicable law, third-party rights, or the integrity and security of the Service. Accounts may be restricted or terminated for serious or repeated violations.
6. Third-party properties
TV series, character names, trademarks, logos, artwork and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. AuraRank is a fan/community platform and does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property merely because it is referenced on the Service. Unless expressly stated, AuraRank is not affiliated with or endorsed by television networks, studios, streaming services, actors or rights holders.
7. Service availability and changes
The Service may change, experience interruptions, lose features or be discontinued. We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary. Material changes should be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, an additional notice.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AuraRank is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.

General support and legal questions may be sent to contact@aurank.app. Privacy and data-rights requests may be sent to privacy@aurank.app. Copyright notices may be sent to copyright@aurank.app. Any mandatory rights or remedies available under the law that applies to you remain unaffected.
Privacy Policy & KVKK Notice
This Global Privacy Notice explains how AuraRank, operated by Muhammed AYDIN as an individual, processes personal data when you use aurank.app. Where applicable, Muhammed AYDIN is the data controller (or equivalent responsible party) for processing they determine.
Regional privacy frameworks
This notice is intended to support users internationally. Depending on where you live, additional rights may arise under laws such as the EU GDPR, UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, Türkiye's KVKK, and applicable U.S. state privacy laws. Where a local law gives you stronger rights than this notice, those mandatory rights remain available.
1. Data we process
- Account data: email address, username, authentication/account identifiers and account status.
- Profile data: profile picture and profile or visibility choices you choose to provide.
- Activity data: character/episode ratings, votes, lists, rankings, game activity, submissions and other actions associated with your account.
- Community content: public lists, titles, descriptions and other material you intentionally publish or submit.
- Technical data: information normally generated when accessing an online service, such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, security logs, local-storage/session information and similar diagnostics, where collected by AuraRank or its service providers.
- Advertising/consent data: consent choices and advertising-related identifiers or signals where Google advertising services are enabled.
2. Why we process it
We process data to create and secure accounts; authenticate users; save ratings and lists; display public profile/community features; operate Guess and other games; review submissions; prevent abuse and fraud; maintain and debug the Service; respond to requests; comply with legal obligations; and, where enabled and legally permitted, display and measure advertising.
3. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, processing may rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights, and consent where required. Where KVKK applies, the relevant processing condition is determined under Articles 5 and, where relevant, 6. Consent is requested only where legally required and is separate from the duty to provide this notice.
4. Service providers and international transfers
AuraRank uses external infrastructure and service providers. The current site code uses Supabase for authentication/database functionality, Google AdSense for advertising when enabled, and TVMaze APIs for television metadata-related functionality. Hosting, network, security or infrastructure providers may also process technical data as necessary to deliver the Service.
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where international-transfer rules apply, AuraRank and/or its providers are expected to rely on legally recognised transfer mechanisms or safeguards required by applicable law, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms where appropriate.
5. Public information
Usernames and content or lists you deliberately make public may be visible to other users and visitors. Your email address is not intended to be displayed publicly by AuraRank's normal profile interface.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including maintaining accounts and community records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal obligations. Some security or provider logs may follow shorter or provider-specific retention periods. Where deletion is legally required, data is deleted or anonymised unless continued retention is permitted or required by law.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain information about processing and transfers, receive a portable copy of certain data, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a competent privacy authority. Under KVKK Article 11, data subjects have the rights provided by that article, including learning whether personal data is processed, requesting information, correction or deletion where the legal conditions are met, and seeking compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
To exercise a privacy right, contact privacy@aurank.app. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before fulfilling it. Requests are handled within the time limits required by applicable law.
8. Children and younger users
AuraRank does not knowingly request more personal data from younger users than is reasonably necessary for the Service. Where applicable law requires parental or guardian authorisation for a particular user or type of processing, the relevant feature should not be used without that authorisation. Advertising and consent choices for younger users must follow the requirements that apply in the user's region.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect the Service and user data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes
We may update this Global Privacy Notice when the Service, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the Legal Center indicates the current version.
Cookies, Local Storage & Advertising
AuraRank and its service providers may use cookies, browser local storage and similar technologies for account sessions, preferences, security, consent storage, analytics/diagnostics and advertising.
Essential technologies
Authentication/session and security technologies may be required for account features and core Service functionality. The site also uses browser storage for certain preferences and state.
Google advertising
Where Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process information or use cookies/similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalise where permitted, and measure ads. Advertising is subject to Google's own policies and privacy disclosures.
Consent choices
Where required, AuraRank uses a consent-management platform for non-essential advertising technologies. In the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google advertising consent should be collected through a Google-certified CMP before consent-dependent advertising storage or processing is used. Users must be offered the choices required by applicable law, including a way to refuse non-essential advertising technologies where required.
Consent should be as easy to withdraw as it is to give. Where AuraRank exposes a privacy/consent control, you may use it to revisit your choices.
Browser controls
You can also manage cookies or stored site data through your browser. Blocking essential storage may cause account or site features to stop working correctly.
Community Guidelines
AuraRank is built for rankings, fandom discussion and entertainment. Keep community participation lawful and respectful.
Do not post or engage in
- Harassment, credible threats, stalking, targeted abuse or attempts to expose another person's private information.
- Hateful or dehumanising attacks against people based on protected characteristics.
- Sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or content that endangers minors.
- Illegal content, malware, scams, phishing, spam or manipulation of ratings and platform systems.
- Content you do not have the right to upload or distribute.
- Impersonation, deceptive account behaviour or evasion of moderation actions.
Ratings and rankings
Disagreeing with another user's rating is not itself a violation. Coordinated manipulation, automated voting, abuse of bugs, or attempts to falsify community results may be removed and may lead to account restrictions.
Enforcement
AuraRank may use warnings, content removal, visibility restrictions, feature restrictions or account suspension/termination depending on severity, context and repetition. Serious safety or legal issues may be escalated where legally required.
Copyright & Intellectual Property
AuraRank respects intellectual-property rights. Clips and other uploads are user-generated content selected and submitted by users. Users must submit only material they are entitled to use, and AuraRank may remove or restrict material when appropriate.
Third-party entertainment content
References to shows, characters, actors and related properties are for identification, commentary, ranking and community discussion. All third-party trademarks and copyrighted works remain the property of their respective owners. A reference on AuraRank does not imply endorsement or ownership.
Copyright reports
If you are a rights holder or authorised representative and believe content on AuraRank infringes your rights, send a notice to copyright@aurank.app identifying: the protected work, the allegedly infringing material and its location on AuraRank, your authority to act, and sufficient contact information for follow-up. We may request additional information and may remove or restrict material while reviewing a valid report.
Repeat infringement
Where appropriate and permitted by law, AuraRank may restrict or terminate users who repeatedly submit infringing material. Users can report a copyright issue directly from Clip cards or contact copyright@aurank.app. A report does not itself determine infringement; AuraRank may review the report, request further information, and remove or restrict content where appropriate.
